Types of Feedback We Welcome
- Bug reports — incorrect output from any formatter, encoder, or generator
- Feature requests — new tools or improvements to existing ones
- Edge case failures — inputs that cause unexpected results
- Accessibility issues — keyboard navigation problems, screen reader compatibility
- General usability feedback — anything that would make DevKit more useful in your workflow
Bug Report Guidelines
To help us identify and fix issues quickly, please include the following in your message:
- The tool name (e.g., "JSON Formatter", "JWT Decoder")
- The input that caused the issue (redact any sensitive data)
- The output you received
- The output you expected
- Your browser name and version
For formatter issues, a minimal reproducible example (the smallest input that triggers the bug) is extremely helpful.
Feature Request Process
We prioritize new tools based on how frequently developers encounter the need in real workflows. When requesting a new tool, describe the specific task you're trying to accomplish — not just the tool category. This helps us understand whether an existing tool could cover the need or whether a new dedicated tool is warranted. We review all requests and will let you know our plans.
